Folks, I’m tired. This blog was a fun experience, but life is preventing me from doing as much as I would like.
If anyone wants to take over, let me know. Otherwise this blog will go bye bye by the new year.

Very sad to see this; I hope it is not related to the extensive conversation around your last post.
No. It’s life. The post about eating in Blacksburg was not as well done as the Christiansburg one and I stacked off on the election. I cannot give it the time it needs.
This last debate was amazing. I loved it and that a council member responded was heartwarming.
I hate to see you go! On the other hand, if you need a place to “guest vent” now and then, please keep me in mind.
Most people have no idea of how demanding this blogging this is for the blogger. There is a lot of research to do if you are to give accurate information, sources and facts have to be checked, it has to be carefully written to prevent law suits, and sometimes, you get sued for a blog you were not even affiliated with and it costs you many thousands of dollars to simply get your name removed from the lawsuit.
Also, you must have a very thick skin because there is always someone to disagree and sometimes that disagreement can get very nasty in ways that are not visible to the public (reader’s) eye.
I’ll certainly welcome any ‘guest-blog’ articles you are willing to contribute. So, if you’re interested, let me know.
